The Peterborough Lakers Rep Program offers a Spring Field Lacrosse Program to our registered box players when numbers permit for the U9, U11, U13, U15, and U17 divisions. The Spring season runs before the Rep Box season, beginning in April and ending on the May long weekend. Teams generally play 2 games a week on either Saturday or Sunday during the season.

Field lacrosse is the outdoor version of the game, played on a full field where speed, endurance, and strategy come together. With more space and flow, players rely on teamwork, positioning, and stick skills to create scoring opportunities. The game challenges athletes not only against their opponents, but also the elements, building well-rounded lacrosse players.

Players do not have to live within the City of Peterborough limits to try out; however, Ontario Lacrosse Association residency rules require athletes to be residentially bound to PMLA in order to play Rep Box with our club. To confirm your eligible centre, use the “Where Do I Play?” tool on the Ontario Lacrosse Association website.

All Rep Box players must have proper lacrosse gear to participate:

• CSA-approved helmet with full face mask
