PMLA Awards

Updated Monday August 25, 2014 by Peterborough Minor Lacrosse Association.

The below awards are presented annually to rep players. Selected players are nominated by their coaching staff.

John Grant Sr. MVP Field Award - presented to a player who demonstrates a high level of proficiency in skills specific to the field game. 

Most Improved Player Award - presented to a player who through hard work and the ability to listen and take risks developed confidence and skill level to enable them to take his/her game to the next level.

Sportsmanship and Ability award - presented to a player that uses his/her lacrosse skills to positively contribute to the integrity of the game. He/She demonstrates respect for teammates, opponents, officials and coaches representing the Peterborough Community and Laker lacrosse in a positve manner.

Most Dedicated Player award - presented to a player who demonstrates a true passion for the game of lacrosse. He/she uses hard work and skill in practice and game situations to not only make his/her individual game better but also has the abilty to make the players around him/her better.
